Officer Report:

Secretary:
April read the minutes from the March GM Meeting. Mari accepted
minutes as read and Patty 2nd it. 

Treasury:
Brenda N gave the Treasure Report. Sandy had the papers to pass
around to the group to initial with the totals and deposits. Start balance
was 2,847.96. Mari accepted the report and April 2nd it. 

Internet Service Coordinator:
Mari everything looks good on the web. Just need ideas for the newsletter. 

Record Coordinator:
Patty nothing new. Workshops are good threw Aug. 2009. Working on
July (food) 

Co-Chair:
Training requirement class for DHS is April 29th. 

Co-Chair 2:
Brenda N. letter from Kathy O’Neil about the IFFCA conference.
Thanking IAVQCC members for all the help. Brenda N. also Thanked
all the members for helping out. 

Talked about the updates on the ordinance that Kathy Swenka is trying
to help change in Coralville and North Liberty.

Old Business:

WOYC-  The Kick off was April 17th 2009. Linda won the
IAVQCC door prize. They went on a tour of the Children's Museum and
they got a sneak peek at the Aviation Room. There was food and wine.
It was a good time.  We had voted not to have a table.  Louise mentioned
how the Museum has a library of book and was thinking maybe we could
have a book drive and donate books to them at a later date. 

IFFCA- Next board meeting is April 25th 2009. Brenda N. and
Brenda O. are both going to be there. The meeting is from 930am-noon.

Insurance- Louise checked in to a few questions that the group had. Vote
on Insurance at the BOD meeting in May. 

Talked about the Conference forum the IAVQCC is holding in June.
Looking in to a few ideas where to hold it. Jeff Johnson was discussed to
have as the keynote.
