The meeting was called to order by Louise Rhode

It was held March 18, 2008 at 6:43pm at the
West Branch Library
300 N. Downey St.
West Branch, IA 52358

There were 12 people present:
April Kirchhoff, Lyn Peterson, Linda Vawter, Louise Rhode,
Mari Howell-Verry, Diana Riahi, Sandy Langenberg, Mira Sahu,
Brenda Nelson, Patty Smith, Brenda O'Halloran, Amanda Swenka

The minutes from the February meeting were read by Louise Rhode.
There were no additions or corrections. They were approved
as read.

The treasures report was $1290.46. The group reimbursed
$22.89 for copies and $13.68 for postage to Louise Rhode and
$100.70 to Mari for printing the brochures for the conference.

We had our first reply back to the fliers handed out at the
conference and would like to welcome Rhonda Taylor from
Tipton to the group.

Some of the unfinished business is:

	*  There was a motion to accept the bylaws as written.
	*  The bylaws were passed as written.
	*  There was an IFCCA conference and 12 out of 17
        members were present.

The new business for the Marching was:

	*  Louise donated $20.00 to the group. The money came
        from items that Linda purchased from her.
	*  The group decided not to set up a table at the
        4C's conference on April 12th, we decided to put our
        brochures on the 4C's table.
	*  There has been a change in the date for the fun
        event. It will be held on April 26th at Sandy
        Landenberg's from 2-4 pm.
	*  Katie Bee will be at the children’s museum on
        April 12th at 2:30pm. The tickets are $10.00 per
        child that includes free museum after the concert.

Our next meeting will be on April 15th at the West Branch
library. The guest speaker will be Kelly Mathews.

7:10 the meeting was adjourned.

Presentation was by Jan Temple, Nutrition and Health Field
Specialist for ISU Extension.  The title was "Food: How
Much? Main Dish, Side Dished and Desserts with a focus on
fruits and Veggies"
